The Youth Aliyah

81 years ago, 01/30/1933, the Youth Aliyah was established. After 12 Jewish youngsters in Germany were fired from their job simply for being Jews, they found another solution that would allow them to work: to make Aliyah to the Promised Land Bounce house with slide and to work in agriculture, “chaqla’ut” in Hebrew (חַקְלָאוּת). The number 12 was important in the establishment of Youth Aliyah as there were 12 youngsters who came to Israel on 09/12/1932, to a beautiful place called Ben-Shemen.  This movement of bringing Jewish youths from Germany to Israel was called “‘aliyat ha-no’ar” (עליית הנוער). More than 150,000 Jews,

Flash and fabulous shining sequin cocktail dresses never go wrong for holiday season. Get your shine on in a sweet short sequin cocktail dress with a gilded finish that’ll dazzle in any light. For when a little sparkle goes a long way, go for a sequin cocktail dress in regal gold for a festive take!

Throughout the formal and prom world, a major change is occurring. Country and vintage lace designs are less common, and instead we’re seeing more elegant and avant-garde silhouettes being used. Dress designers are not afraid to take design to a new level, cleverly using minimal lace in the most unexpected places. An entire evening dress is covered in a rich black lace and also features an interesting scalloped collar.

Some of my favorite lace gown creations are from the ever-changing and awe-inspiring designs in bridal industry. Many of the bridal gowns are lace from neckline to hemline, with lace fabrics ranging from the extremely delicate Alençon lace to the almost geographical, cut-out, modern laces on classic mermaid and column styles. hailmaryjanes top1sexvideos citybarbeques themeinfos apptippers tiavat top1xnxx topfreeblackporn blackhatoffers top5xnxx malehealthsreview arturofirenzes modernsharps top1xxx

most of them from Germany and mostly young, were saved by this movement before, during  and after the Holocaust.

If you wanted to join this movement you would have needed to leave your family in Germany and come to the land of Israel where you would focus on three important things: work, study, and society, or in Hebrew “avodah, limudim ve-chevrah”  (עֲבוֹדָה, לִמּוּד, חֶבְרָה).

What happened after you came to Israel?

After preparing in Germany for this mission, you were placed in a Kibbutz or Moshav, together with the other youngsters who came with you.  The day was divided into three main parts – time spent working in the fields, time being taught by teachers in order to gain more knowledge about life and values, and the time spent with the group in which members of the group provided mental support for one another.

By the time World War II started, nearly five thousand youths had already been saved from the Nazis. During the war, a new period began in the Youth Aliyah since they were no longer just from Germany but from other countries as well in Europe and even Yemen, Iraq and other places in Asia. Most of them were without any knowledge, which resulted in many difficulties in their absorption. Because they came from different backgrounds, and the war that going on, it was harder than before to acquire knowledge.

Two important women need to be mentioned when one speaks of this movement: Recha Freier, who founded Youth Aliyah in Berlin on the same day that Adolf Hitler took power in 01/30/1933, and Henrietta Szold, who was the second chairman of this movement from 1939 until 1944.

What do you think about the movement’s triangle (Work-Study-Society)? Do you think that if everyone lived according to these values, the world would be a better place? Or do you think they are irrelevant for our time?

I’d love to read your comments.

Have a blessed week,

I had a Jewish background. But sorry to say I have no evidence about it. So I think, I can not be a part of Jewish community. Any way even though my heart is Jew, my blood is Jew. So I will be happy if more and more people do Aliah for Holy land. G-d bless us (Jewish).

I have never heard of this movement before and I believe these are noble values for everyone.
